Academic

Qualified staff, a well equipped library, lectures and written assignments enable you to acquire a solid theological and biblical foundation and an in-depth understanding of intercultural dynamics and cross-cultural communication.

Experiential

Community living, spiritual activities and mentoring aim at the development of character, a strong spiritual life and relationship skills.

Practical

Constant interaction with the world of missions, hands-on activities in both outreach and practical work help to develop vision, ministry skills and practical abilities.

1 year programme

Certificate in Intercultural Studies

The Cornerstone one year programme also called the certificate programme, provides training for students who prepare for cross-cultural support ministries, short-term cross-cultural ministry and for those who for other reasons have limited time for training.

The course majors on biblical and theological subjects, but includes also missiological and communication courses to develop basic skills in sharing the gospel cross-culturally. Included in the Cornerstone one year programme is a three week hands on cross-cultural mission experience (The cost for the cross-cultural mission experience is NOT included in the fees and will depend on the country you choose to go to).

Our certificate programme – EQF 5-Partial (Short Cycle-Partial) – is accredited by the ECTE.

2 year programme

diploma in Intercultural Studies

The two year programme in Cornerstone Bible college, also called the Diploma programme in Intercultural Studies, prepares missionary candidates for cross-cultural work. Students who finish Cornerstone’s diploma programma succesfully are prepared for ministries as: pioneer church planting, church nurture, support and aid ministries, ‘tent making’ situations, etc.
Beside biblical studies, the second year majors on missiology, intercultural studies and cross-cultural communication. Spiritual and personal formation courses encourages students to develop their leadership skills. Included in the second year is an internship of six weeks hands-on mission experience in a cross-cultural setting (The cost for the six week mission experience is NOT included in the fees and will depend on the country you go to).

Our Diploma programme – EQF 5 (Short Circle) – is accredited by the ECTE.
