We’re looking for someone like you to join our team as a Facility Manager at Cornerstone — a place where future cross-cultural missionaries are trained and equipped to go into all the world. This is a mission opportunity, not a salaried position. Like all staff at Cornerstone, you’ll serve as a supported missionary, trusting God to provide through churches, friends, and partners. But what you’ll gain in purpose, community, and Kingdom impact is priceless.
We are seeking someone who:
- Loves Jesus Christ and wants to serve others
- Has a practical background
- Experience in site management (preferred but not required)
- Is organized, proactive, and able to set clear priorities
- Is willing communicate with contractors, companies, and officials
- Likes to live and work among others from diverse backgrounds.
- Wants to get involved with those in our community for times of ministry and spiritual growth
Responsibilities:
As Facility Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our campus safe, functional, and welcoming. Your work will directly support the day-to-day life and training of students from all over the globe.
- Oversee the care and maintenance of all campus buildings and facilities
- Plan, initiate, and follow through on repair and maintenance projects
- Prioritize and manage long-term facility upgrades with leadership input
- Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and emergency regulations
- Maintain relationships with external suppliers, contractors, and government contacts
- Monitor water quality and follow government guidelines
- Develop and oversee a multi-year maintenance plan
- Supervise/support a few practical short-term volunteer workers when needed
